Just a quick update to my last blog entry. The candy cane cookies are successfully made! And they are delicious. Although they are delicious, they are not as good as mom's but nothing really ever is. So this is what we (Cindy and I) ended up doing: oven at 170 C, parchment paper to prevent them from sticking, and only baking them for 7 minutes. I am so glad that we got it figured out and they are finished. We made cut out cookies as well today. Those are also pretty labor intensive, but they turned out good.
I think I'm done with cookie making for a while!
